Oakland! We’re so excited to have another show back home, this one curated by @cam_mender_in_leaf at East Bay Municipal Utility District.
This one is special for a lot of reasons. It’s focused on project photography, meaning you’ll get to bask in beautiful landscape/quilt prints taken by trans photographers. These photos - and this collaboration - are special, too, because they explore one of the project themes of water. What better way to share our watery selves than with the local water utility company? Plus, EBMUD has a beautiful space for exhibiting and we can’t wait to adorn it through Pride Month.
“From the Sewers: a trans quilts photo show” is on view from June 1 - July 10. Artist reception on June 25 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Do you like the title?
