Gender Mend is an exhibition amplifying works of all transgender artists in the context of craft. Gender Mend explores the ideas of what we, as gender expansive people, work to recontextualize about our personhood, our histories, our bodies, and the ways in which we are viewed. We offer the value of our past experiences as not something to be forgotten, but rather to be examined, maintained, and mended to transform what may have once been the source of our pain into something tangibly affirming. - Milo Godfrey, Curator of Gender Mend
